Carlton Fields intellectual property attorney Eleanor Yost was quoted in a Tampa Bay Business Journal article regarding a recent lawsuit related to tortious interference with business and breach of agreements.

The complaint contends that the defendant is “poaching” its distributors from competing companies through deceptive claims, and that the distributor defendants are breaching non-compete contracts.

Yost pointed out that these types of “poaching” lawsuits are typical.

"The allegations made in the complaint don’t appear to be particularly unusual," said Yost.
