Carlton Fields construction attorney Michael J. Rune was quoted in a Construction Dive article about a derivative lawsuit filed by an investor in the construction and engineering company Fluor Corp. The lawsuit alleges the company violated securities law. Carlton Fields was not involved in the matter, but firm attorneys handle a variety of construction disputes, including shareholder and derivative litigation.

"If you're a shareholder of a company and you think management is mismanaging the company or has done something improper ... you can bring a suit against your own company to try and correct a wrong," Rune told the publication.
