Carlton Fields international insurance professionals Thomas F. Morante and Yani R. Contreras co-authored an article about the growth of the insurance technology (insurtech) industry in Latin America within a highly regulated atmosphere.

“Recognizing insurtech’s potential benefits, insurance regulators in Latin America have begun to explore how to facilitate modernization of the insurance sector through the use of new digital technologies without compromising consumer protection,” Morante and Contreras wrote in the article, published in the American Bar Association’s Business Law Today.
