Carlton Fields labor and employment attorney Brendan N. Gooley authored an article for Connecticut Employment Law Letter about a case that illustrates the litigation risks that can arise from an employer’s actions involving terminated employees.
“Remember, an employer’s potential exposure doesn’t necessarily end when an employee is terminated,” Gooley wrote. “Some risks extend beyond the employment itself.”
