Carlton Fields Shareholder Jack Clabby authored an American Bar Association Securities Litigation Practice Points article, “Tips for Preparing and Using Exhibits in Remote Video Depositions,” about how to approach employing exhibits in remote video depositions.

Clabby suggests several tips, including organizing exhibits for electronic use at the outset, delivering physical exhibits prior to the deposition, utilizing one person to take the deposition and another professional to drive the electronic exhibit sharing, and confirming on the record that the deponent and other counsel have received their exhibits.
