Tampa, Fla. – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Gregory A. Gidus has joined the firm’s Tampa office as an associate. Gidus will practice in the firm’s Property and Casualty Insurance practice group.
Gidus will represent insurance clients in sophisticated first-party property coverage matters and other complex coverage disputes involving directors and officers liability insurance, errors and omissions liability insurance, professional liability insurance, comprehensive general liability insurance, and financial institution bonds.
Prior to joining Carlton Fields, Gidus served as a law clerk to the Honorable Susan C. Bucklew of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Before that, he was an associate with Stoler Russell Keener Verona P.A. and Burr & Forman LLP.

Gidus received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida State University’s College of Law School, where he was a member of the Florida State University Law Review. He received his B.S., magna cum laude, from Florida State University.
