Kisselburg Joins Firm’s Robust Real Estate and Commercial Finance Team Focused on Agency and HUD/FHA-Insured Lending

Washington, D.C.Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that it has expanded its Washington, D.C. office and national Real Estate and Commercial Finance Practice with the addition of attorney Paul E. Kisselburg. He joins the firm’s robust team of attorneys with deep experience representing mortgage lenders and borrowers on U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)/Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac financing products.

Kisselburg’s practice focuses on the financing of multifamily and senior housing facilities. He represents lenders and borrowers in agency-related financing, with a particular emphasis on HUD, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac. Kisselburg has closed HUD-insured transactions in more than 30 states and has extensive experience in HUD-insured health care financing.

Carlton Fields’ Washington, D.C. office boasts more than 30 lawyers who handle a range of litigation, regulatory, and transactional work, with a particular focus on insurance, real estate, construction, government contracts, health care, white collar crime and government investigations, and securities products and markets. 

Prior to becoming an attorney, Kisselburg was an air traffic controller for 22 years. He brings his attention to detail and problem-solving skills to help clients navigate the complex requirements characteristic of agency financing.

Kisselburg earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law and his B.S. from the University of Minnesota.
