Washington, D.C. – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Ashley Cullinan joined the firm as an associate in Washington, D.C.. She is a member of the firm’s nationally ranked Construction Practice.
Cullinan represents clients in all areas of the construction industry, including owners, contractors, subcontractors, sureties, and design professionals with respect to contract drafting and negotiation, and dispute resolution. She also has experience in real estate and environmental law, representing individuals and corporations in zoning, permitting, land development, and real estate disputes and assisting clients in resolving violations and complaints from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
In addition to her practice, Cullinan is a member of the Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Services Community Advocacy Network and Building for Good, and has written extensively on various pro bono issues. In the spring of 2023, Cullinan will transition her practice to the firm’s Hartford, Connecticut office.
Cullinan earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Fairfield University. While in law school, she was a member and editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Fern Flanagan Saddler of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
