Alan Rosenthal Quoted in Law360: “What Fla. Litigators Are Eyeing in 2025”
Alan Rosenthal was quoted in a Law360 article titled, “What Fla. Litigators Are Eyeing in 2025.” The article discusses upcoming hot topic litigation for Florida courts in the new year as well as new rules governing the active management of civil cases, which some say will have a massive impact on court operations.
Rosenthal commented on these sweeping changes to the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, stating, “While the new procedures are closely modeled after those applicable in federal courts, Florida courts are not currently equipped to implement such procedures. Individual caseloads are considerably larger in state courts and, while federal judges have extensive support staff, including law clerks, state court judges have very limited staff — with most having no law clerks.”
