Chelsey J. Clements

Chelsey Clements is a commercial and construction litigator with particular experience in banking litigation, business litigation, and construction litigation. She represents financial institutions in lender liability litigation, escalated residential and commercial foreclosures, and other complex litigation. Chelsey also represents the full spectrum of construction entities in construction disputes, including acceleration claims, delay claims, defective products, water intrusion, and contract disputes. Her construction engagements have involved single-family homes, multifamily homes, tactical training centers, and professional sporting facilities. Chelsey advocates for her clients in both state and federal courts.

Prior to joining the firm, Chelsey practiced in a variety of areas of civil litigation defense, including bad faith insurance claims, transportation and automobile litigation, product liability, premises liability, and negligent security cases.

• Jacob Erecting & Constr., LLC v. Fed. Ins. Co., No. 162018CA002160XXXXMA (Fla. Cir. Ct. 2018). Represented construction manager in litigation involving construction of improvements to EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Florida.
