Overview
Jack Clabby advises colleges, universities, private secondary schools, and public school boards on a variety of risk, governance, and liability issues. As a former federal prosecutor, he also conducts internal investigations and independent investigations into accounting and financial matters, Board behavior, safety and security matters, and allegations of historical sexual abuse. He also represents education clients in all manner of litigation and assists universities with matters pertaining to Title IX. While he has worked with clients nationally, Jack has a special focus on education clients in Florida.
He began his career as an associate at the litigation firm Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, D.C. He also clerked for Chief Judge Anthony J. Scirica of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Jack is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania Law School and Princeton University.
Jack is active in his own university alumni community, currently serving as the president of the Princeton Club of Tampa Bay.
