Senior Counsel


Trish DeLeo is an experienced real estate attorney who represents clients in a variety of commercial transactions. She counsels clients on matters including the acquisition and disposition of real estate, commercial finance, mortgage loans, leasing, contracting, and joint venture arrangements. Trish has undergone advanced training in real estate closings and is a licensed agent with Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Co.

In her 20-year career, Trish has advised a variety of businesses and individuals in matters involving the purchase and sale of business interests and real estate, business, partnership, and contractual disputes, franchise disputes, and property disputes. Trish has significant alternative dispute resolution experience, having conducted many mediations and arbitrations. Trish is a skilled negotiator who uses her vast litigation background to obtain positive outcomes for her clients.

Trish’s litigation experience and mediation training have enabled her to become adept at advising clients on the myriad issues they encounter, proficient at drafting contracts and agreements, and skilled in negotiating and encouraging collaboration in a variety of contexts. Trish takes a personal approach to client representation, taking the time to get to know each of her clients and to understand their business goals and objectives.

Prior to joining Carlton Fields, Trish owned and operated a real estate and business law firm.
