Emily Green has more than a decade of experience in high-stakes litigation, including mass tort and product liability matters, intellectual property matters, class actions, and a variety of other complex commercial litigation. She also advises clients across industries on a broad range of regulatory compliance issues. Emily deploys a thoughtful and realistic approach to proactively identify potential exposure and aims to provide practical advice by balancing legal risks with her client’s business needs.
Emily is deeply skilled in case management. As part of a team serving as national counsel to a Fortune 100 company for its historic asbestos litigation, she oversaw an active docket of thousands of pending cases from jurisdictions across the United States. In her capacity as national counsel, she developed national discovery and trial strategy and oversaw and directed dozens of outside law firms through all stages of litigation. Emily’s notable prior engagements include obtaining the complete dismissal of a mass tort consolidated action involving more than 100 individual plaintiffs and defeating class certification in a putative class action comprising more than 8,000 individuals alleging exposure to substances emitted from a metals plant.
During law school, Emily served as a judicial intern to the Hon. William M. Nickerson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
