Overview

Casey Hardy McGowan’s practice focuses primarily on mass tort and product liability matters where Casey represents global and national companies in high-stakes mass tort and product liability litigation in federal and state courts. Additionally, as part of Carlton Fields’ antitrust cartel recovery practice, Casey represents a range of corporate clients in multidistrict litigation in federal courts across the country. Casey also has experience in other complex litigation matters involving consumer disputes, land disputes, and breach of contract.

Prior to joining Carlton Fields, Casey was counsel for Amazon Web Services, the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. As an attorney for Amazon, Casey drafted dozens of multimillion-dollar commercial agreements, drove high-impact simplification projects, and advised on antitrust-related matters.

Before private practice, Casey was a law clerk to now-Chief Justice Michael P. Boggs of the Supreme Court of Georgia and a staff attorney for the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
