Overview
Patty Patino represents commercial clients in a wide range of business disputes. She has experience with various issues of state and federal law, including breach of contract, commercial torts, and related causes of action. Patty is skilled at litigating substantive and dispositive issues through written and oral advocacy to secure favorable outcomes for her clients.
Earlier in her career, Patty served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jay P. Cohen of Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal. She was responsible for researching and recommending the disposition of issues raised in civil appeals, including issues common to business litigation such as jurisdiction, contract and statutory interpretation, damages, and attorneys’ fees. Patty’s background in appellate law enables her to approach each case with a big-picture perspective and enhances her ability to resolve key issues in and out of the courtroom.
