Ben Stearns counsels insurance industry clients on regulatory, compliance, transactional, international, and cross-border matters, and defends insurers in coverage litigation. His practice includes work for insurers in the property and casualty, life and health, and travel insurance industries. In addition, Ben provides licensing and compliance counsel to clients operating in other regulated industries, including the professional services, cannabis, and alcohol sectors. He also lobbies the Florida executive branch and legislature. Ben has provided guidance in the counterterrorism field. His work has led to presentations on the Support Anti-Terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies Act of 2002, a government program designed to promote the development of anti-terrorism technologies, and research on intervention protocols provided by mental health practitioners to persons trending toward extremist ideologies.
