Overview

Tom Ward advises clients on regulatory matters involving state and federal insurance and securities laws, including insurance product filings, compliance research, and preparation of offering materials.

Prior to joining Carlton Fields, Tom gained hands-on experience with the firm as a law clerk, supporting regulatory projects for financial services clients, and served as a judicial extern for the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.

Tom earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he served as research editor for the Wake Forest Law Review and participated on the moot court board. A former NCAA Division III championship qualifier in swimming, Tom brings the same focus and perseverance to his work with clients.
