Carlton Fields Recognized as 2020 Top Firm for Insurance for Third Consecutive Year

Firm’s Class Action, Insurance, and Real Estate Attorneys Also Recognized as Top Thought Leaders in JD Supra’s Readers Choice Awards

For the third consecutive year, Carlton Fields is the No. 1 Law Firm for Insurance, according to JD Supra’s 2020 Readers Choice Awards. Additionally, four firm attorneys were recognized as Top Authors based on consistently high readership and engagement for their thought leadership articles in 2019. Fewer than 1% of JD Supra authors received this award, and only one law firm earned the “Top Law Firm” designation in each of the 26 categories covered by the 2020 JD Supra Readers’ Choice Awards.

The following Carlton Fields attorneys were recognized as Top Authors:

  • Matthew Allen (Class Action)
  • Ann Y. Black (Insurance)
  • Scott D. Feather (Insurance – Ranked No. 1; Real Estate)
  • Alex B. Silverman (Insurance)

Carlton Fields’ insurance thought leadership is compiled in Expect Focus®, the firm’s quarterly review of developments in the insurance and financial services industry. Carlton Fields also produces several targeted industry blogs, including Classified: The Class Action Blog.

The Readers Choice Awards also recognize Top Read Articles in each of the aforementioned categories. Carlton Fields’s Top Read Articles include:

  • “Court Finds No Coverage for $42 Million False Claims Act Suit Due To Late Reporting,” by Carlton Fields litigators Steven J. Brodie, Mark A. Neubauer, and Daniel G. Enriquez (Health Care)
  • “State Regulations on Virtual Currency and Blockchain Technologies,” by Carlton Fields cryptocurrency attorneys Matthew E. Kohen and Justin S. Wales (Finance & Banking, Securities)

The Readers’ Choice Awards recognize top authors and firms whose articles were read by C-suite executives, in-house counsel, media, and other professionals across the JD Supra platform during 2019. JD Supra delivers need-to-know legal and business content to professionals in all industries in daily email digests, via more than 100 proprietary social feeds, on mobile platforms, to partner websites, and as news across the web.
