Alumni Spotlight: Carlton Fields Alumnus Adam S. Tanenbaum Appointed to Florida Supreme Court
Carlton Fields alumnus Adam S. Tanenbaum was appointed to serve on the Florida Supreme Court.
He was appointed to the position by Gov. Ron DeSantis in January 2026.
Previously, Judge Tanenbaum served as a judge for Florida’s First District Court of Appeal, as well as the general counsel for the Florida House of Representatives and Florida Department of State and the chief deputy solicitor general for the Florida Department of Legal Affairs.
Judge Tanenbaum was in private practice at Carlton Fields from 1997–2001, 2001–2002, 2003–2005, and 2010–2011.
