Revisions to the 2007 AIA Contract Documents

"The American Institute of Architects ("AIA") produces the most widely used standard construction contracts in the nation and has done so since the late 1800's. Typically, the AIA revises their standard documents every ten years or so. The AIA recently released the latest version of their standard construction contracts in the fall of 2007. While there are numerous substantive changes to the 2007 AIA documents, this article discusses two of the more significant changes related to the dispute resolution provisions."
