Capitol e-Report - Negron Wins Big in Special Election Senate Race

The Special Election for Senate District 28 on Florida's Treasure Coast was held yesterday. Former House member Joe Negron won the election by an overwhelming margin, capturing over 75 percent of the vote. Senate District 28 was the seat vacated directly after the 2009 Legislative Session by Ken Pruitt.
