McAliley shared:
I think there's people in the incoming Trump administration who see this as a very good strategy, because in their view once something is delegated to the states it never comes back to the federal government. Even if there's a new administration, the states are doing it already and it isn't going to come back. Delegation would reduce the federal role in jurisdiction, which I think is one of the administration's goals.
