High Court Won't Stop New Trial For Allied Vets Atty.” The article discusses the Florida Supreme Court’s decision to not reverse the order for a new trial for Peter Mathis, who was convicted of helping the Allied Veterans of the World run an illegal gambling ring. Webster, representing Mathis, told the publication his client “was pleased with the result, which they expected.”
