Carlton Fields President and CEO Gary L. Sasso was quoted in the Tampa Bay Times article, “Straz Center Parking Squeeze Infuriates Patrons, Motivates Search for Solutions.” Sasso, who chairs the performing arts center board of trustees, told the Tampa City Council that the growth, which has fueled the city and the Center’s parking woes “is a good problem to have.” He added, “But growth has to be supported by infrastructure. Without the necessary infrastructure, we will throttle the very growth we see … We need your help.”
