Carlton Fields President and CEO Gary Sasso Featured in The American Law Institute Reporter

Carlton Fields President and CEO Gary L. Sasso, a life member of The American Law Institute Council, was featured on the front page of the summer 2018 edition of The ALI Reporter after an important vote. ALI produces scholarly work to clarify, modernize, and otherwise improve the law. That work includes restatements of the law, which guide courts with clear, precise language that reflects common law as it currently stands.
 
ALI members voted at their May annual meeting to approve two restatement projects: Restatement Third, Torts: Liability for Economic Harm and Restatement of the Law, Liability Insurance. Sasso served as chair of the latter project. He appeared in a front-page photo from the meeting along with ALI’s director, president, and other council members.
