The Sound of Silence: Criminal Immunity for Foreign Sovereigns Under the FSIA, and Civil RICO Liability for Foreign Sovereigns in the Second Circuit

Carlton Fields attorneys Brian Rosner, Natalie A. Napierala, and Michael D. Sloan co-authored an article in the New York Law Journal about a circuit split on the issue of criminal immunity for foreign sovereigns. The Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act does not address the issue, and the circuit split also affects civil claims brought under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, the attorneys wrote.
