Carlton Fields’ Matthew E. Kohen Quoted in Coverage of Bitcoin Creator Dispute

Carlton Fields Blockchain and Digital Currency Practice Co-Chair Matthew E. Kohen was quoted in Decrypt’s ongoing coverage of litigation surrounding the identity of the creator of Bitcoin. In the article “Latest twist in the Kleiman case could upend Craig Wright’s libel lawsuits,” Kohen discussed the potential ramifications of a court’s order demanding that self-proclaimed Bitcoin inventor Craig Wright produce records of all the bitcoin he has mined.
 
As the case developed, Kohen spoke with Decrypt about Wright’s “highly unusual” decision to call himself as an expert witness in the case. Kohen’s comments were published in the article “Kleiman v Craig Wright is careening towards a showdown in Florida.”
