Carlton Fields Attorney Jennifer A. Tschetter Affirms Accuracy of EVIO Labs’ Cannabis Testing

Carlton Fields Cannabis Practice Co-Chair Jennifer A. Tschetter was quoted in a POLITICO article detailing the blowback against a Florida state attorney’s recent claims about drug testing labs. In a letter on behalf of firm client EVIO Labs, Tschetter rejected Leon County State Attorney Jack Campbell’s assertion that no drug testing lab in the state can accurately differentiate between marijuana and hemp.  
 
"EVIO Labs can absolutely test cannabis plant materials or products and determine with precision the amount of THC in the sample," Tschetter wrote in the letter, which was quoted in POLITICO.
 
EVIO Labs has Florida Department of Health authorization to test cannabis and has invested in some of the most advanced laboratory equipment in the U.S.
 
“EVIO’s testing services are second to none in this state and quite possibly the country,” Tschetter added.
