A Rare Non-Compete Wrinkle: Miami Lawyers Prevail in Employee-Poaching Litigation

Carlton Fields attorneys Alan Rosenthal, Natalie J. Carlos, Charles W. Throckmorton, and Michael G. Zilber were featured in a Daily Business Review article about a noteworthy client victory enforcing non-compete agreements in the health care industry. Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal ruled in favor of Carlton Fields’ client, Surgery Partners, confirming Florida’s public policy of preventing unlawful competition with a health care organization’s patient relationships and those of its physician employees.
