Carlton Fields Construction Attorneys Featured in the Tampa Bay Business Journal on Coronavirus in the Construction Industry

Carlton Fields construction Shareholders Luis Prats and Wm. Cary Wright were featured in a Tampa Bay Business Journal article about how to handle the coronavirus crisis in the construction industry. 

Wright discussed the advantages of the Paycheck Protection Program, the portion of the recently passed CARES Act that allows for federal assistance with rent, interest on mortgages and utilities, and payroll.

Prats advised on staying compliant with the city of Tampa’s construction site guidelines, managing force majeure clauses in construction contracts, and handling personnel health issues in the pandemic.
