Companies Eager to “Lock In” Trump-Era Water Rule Exemptions
Carlton Fields environmental attorney Neal McAliley was quoted in a Bloomberg Energy & Environment Report article about how U.S. water regulations may change if a new president is elected in November 2020. Ahead of the election, many companies are hoping to receive five-year jurisdictional determinations specifying how the Clean Water Act may apply to their properties, McAliley said.
