Apeiron at the Jockey Club Developer Wins Key Ruling from Appeals Court

Carlton Fields client Apeiron Miami LLC was featured in the Daily Business Review and The Real Deal after a Florida appellate court victory. The Third District Court of Appeal decision upheld Apeiron’s real property and development rights.

“It’s a decisive and significant victory on appeal. It’s very important not only for the company but also for upholding basic development and property rights in Florida,” Carlton Fields Shareholder Christopher Smart, who chairs the firm’s Real Property Litigation Practice, told the Daily Business Review. “It’s a very good thing.”

Along with Smart, Carlton Fields Shareholders Dane R. Blunt, Scott D. Feather, and Joseph H. Lang Jr. also represented Apeiron in the litigation and the appeal.
