Carlton Fields Attorney and Valdosta State University Alumnus, Robert L. Shannon, Jr., Establishes Scholarship to Help Develop Future Leaders

Carlton Fields Atlanta Shareholder Bobby Shannon partnered with his alma mater, Valdosta State University (VSU), to endow a scholarship to support the development of future leaders. As VSU noted in a statement announcing the scholarship, Bobby “considers it a personal mission to inspire and empower others to develop their inner leader, find their courage, and take bold action.” In recognition of Mr. Shannon’s many contributions to VSU, the University dedicated the Shannon Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in his honor.
