Carlton Fields’ Gary L. Sasso Named One of Florida’s Most Influential Business Leaders

Carlton Fields President and CEO Gary L. Sasso was recognized on Florida Trend’s fourth annual Florida 500 list as one of “Florida’s Most Influential Business Leaders.” His profile can be read here.

The Florida 500 list features the state’s most influential business leaders across major industries. “Our mission has always been to provide Florida business leaders with a statewide perspective, with balanced, authoritative and in-depth content delivered across multiple platforms,” Florida Trend Publisher David Denor wrote in a publisher’s letter. “We try hard to deliver information that helps businesses, policymakers and others understand the needs of our complex state … And just as the individuals featured on these pages of the Florida 500 play an important role in shaping the state, they’re vital to keeping us in touch with developments around Florida.”

According to Florida Trend, the Florida 500 honorees were selected based on extensive contacts in regional business circles, hundreds of interviews and months of research, culminating in a highly selective biographical guide to the people who really run Florida. A variety of sources were used to produce the lists, including input from executives of economic development organizations, professional associations and others who know their communities, industries and the state well.
