Carlton Fields cybersecurity attorney Jack Clabby was interviewed for a feature topic about returning to host Cyber Florida’s No Password Required podcast for a second season.
Clabby discusses why he initially decided to do the podcast, sharing that the podcast helps those starting in the industry, as well as advanced practitioners, realize the value of relationships in cybersecurity.
Clabby also comments on why experts should tune in to the second season: “I think the more expert you are in something, the harder it is to step back and see the forest for the trees. So, it’s good for even highly specialized practitioners to listen to something that’s more generally applicable. If you’re involved in protecting systems, it’s good for you to hear from someone who’s more of a risk specialist. If you’re a risk specialist, you need to listen to someone who does intelligence gathering. If you’re in intelligence gathering, it’s good for you to listen to lawyers from time to time. You can always gain a little bit by coming out of where you are and looking at it from another perspective.”
