Carlton Fields Hosts Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce 2023 Developers Forum

Carlton Fields hosted the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s (GMCC) Annual Developers Forum at its Miami office, as was mentioned in the South Florida Business Journal article titled, “South Florida 'Relatively Insulated' From Coming Recession, Panelists Say.” This year’s program focused on the new era of real estate developments in South Florida, featuring discussions on some of the current trends and challenges in the space, such as interest rates, construction costs, and the impact on prices due to migration to Miami. Heather Jonczak, a shareholder in the firm’s Miami office and a member of the construction practice group, provided opening remarks.

Amy Furness, a shareholder at Carlton Fields and member of the firm’s Mass Tort & Product Liability Practice, serves as chair-elect of the GMCC, and will be installed as chair of the board in June 2023.

Carlton Fields was also a sponsor of the event.
