Gene Rossi Quoted in Newsweek: “Trump Indictment for Mar-a-Lago Documents Coming 'Soon,' Attorney Predicts”

Carlton Fields attorney Gene Rossi was quoted in an article for Newsweek titled, “Trump Indictment for Mar-a-Lago Documents Coming 'Soon,' Attorney Predicts.” The piece refers to the former president being accused of improperly removing dozens of classified documents from the White House before leaving office in 2021.

While asked when an indictment may be expected, Rossi stated, “Although a[n] average citizen would have been justly charged last summer, I do not believe that the alleged Mar-a-Lago charges will be revealed so quickly […]. However, those charges will highly likely be presented this year to a grand jury.”
