Law360 quoted Jack Clabby in an article titled “In-House Attys Need to Keep Trying for Firms to Adopt AFAs.” The article discusses one of the takeaways from the Carlton Fields 2023 Class Action Survey that fewer than half of businesses are using alternative fee arrangements to defend class actions.

Clabby stresses that "not all AFAs are created equal," and as a result, in-house counsel facing resistance from their favored firms might want to reconsider which method they're trying to use.
