Ben Stearns Interviewed in Captive Review: “First Florida Redomestication and Reform Support Could Trigger Captive Market Upturn”
Ben Stearns was interviewed in a Captive Review article titled “First Florida Redomestication and Reform Support Could Trigger Captive Market Upturn.” The article examines the momentum building around Florida becoming a captive domicile following the state's first captive redomestication.
Stearns serves as secretary of the newly formed Florida Captive Insurance Association, which is working on a package of reforms to attract more captives to set up in Florida.
“There’s excitement about Florida really developing as a more viable captive insurance domicile,” he said. “We want this to be as collaborative a process as possible. The goal is that when we come back next year with legislation, everyone is rowing in the same direction.”
