Dean Conway Quoted in Compliance Corylated: “US CLARITY Act Aligns SEC, CFTC on Crypto”
Dean Conway was quoted in a Compliance Corylated article titled “US CLARITY Act Aligns SEC, CFTC on Crypto.” The article discusses the expectations of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (Clarity Act) to align the approaches to crypto regulation of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The crypto bill has been stalled in the Senate since passing the House of Representatives in 2025.
“At this stage, we do not yet know exactly what the CLARITY Act will look like in its final form. That said, it is encouraging to see regulators and Congress appear to be moving in the same direction,” Conway stated. “There is no obvious reason why the two agencies should not be able to work together in a productive and collaborative way, avoiding inconsistency and duplication."
