Bill Sklar was quoted in The Real Deal, in an article titled “Lawmakers Criminalize Kickbacks and Concealing Records at Condo, Homeowners Associations.” The article discusses recently proposed bills that, if signed into law, would boost repercussions against community association board members and managers who go rogue, including criminalizing kickbacks and hiding records.

“There’s teeth to it [the bills] and it’s enforceable, and there are penalties,” Sklar said. “That is very significant.”
