Carlton Fields was featured in the Daily Business Review, in an article titled “Racial Diversity Ticks Upwards at Florida's Largest Law Firms, but Only 3 Increased Diversity on Executive Committees.” The article discusses diversity statistics across Florida’s largest law firms, which found that while firms overall boosted their racially and ethnically diverse lawyer head counts by 1.5%, over half of the firms saw a declining volume of diverse equity partners.
Carlton Fields had the highest percentage of racial and ethnic diversity in an executive committee in 2022, and it also increased its committee’s diversity in 2023 to more than 35%. All other firms included in the data with executive committees reported 25% or less of diverse attorneys on executive committees.
