Neal McAliley was quoted in Bloomberg Law in an article titled “EPA to Redefine Protected Wetlands, Reversing Biden Rule.” The article discusses how the Environmental Protection Agency will redefine the waters of the United States to comply with the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2023 ruling in Sackett v. EPA.

“I think this is a cautious first step to limit the scope of waters of the US,” said McAliley “The strategy is to issue guidance that is fairly limited and then plan for the rulemaking.”
