Los Angeles Business Journal Names Mark Neubauer a Leader in Law

Los Angeles Office Managing Shareholder Mark Neubauer was named a “Leader in Law” by the Los Angeles Business Journal.  Neubauer was recognized in the Labor & Employment category for his litigation victories on behalf of large clients, his significant pro bono contributions, and his leadership within the firm and in the legal community.

During Neubauer’s 30-plus years of practice, he has achieved key litigation victories for some of the world’s most well-known companies, protecting them from multi-million-dollar claims. He focuses on sophisticated litigation including commercial, securities, antitrust, real estate, employment, and entertainment matters. Neubauer was also part of the team that filed Cruz v. California, a class-action lawsuit that exposed troubling practices at underperforming schools in Southern California and the Bay Area. With his pro bono support, the case resulted in a judicial order requiring immediate reform, a settlement with the students, and the 2015 passage of Assembly Bill 1012.

In addition to leading the firm’s Los Angeles office, Neubauer has also held leadership roles in the American Bar Association, the California State Bar, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
