Carlton Fields’ Robert S. Freedman Elected Chair of The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section

Tampa, Fla. – Carlton Fields Shareholder Robert S. Freedman, who co-chairs the firm’s Real Estate & Commercial Finance practice, was elected as chair of The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section (RPPTL). His one-year term begins July 1.
 
Since 2002, Freedman has served in numerous leadership roles for the RPPTL Section including chairing its condominium and planned development, legislation review, and CLE seminar coordination committees. He also served as director of the section’s real property division and treasurer.
 
At Carlton Fields, Freedman has represented developers, lenders, and purchasers of developments in Florida and other states for more than 25 years. He has extensive experience in the acquisition, structuring, design, development, and operation of residential and commercial condominiums, subdivisions, homeowners associations, community and master associations, master-planned communities, mixed-use projects, resort communities, and timeshares, fractionals, and vacation clubs. 
 
He earned his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and his A.B. from Duke University.
