Vault Recognizes Carlton Fields as Top Law Firm in the U.S. for Diversity

Carlton Fields continues to rank as one of the top law firms in the country for diversity. In the latest Vault survey, 2020 Best Law Firms for Diversity Rankings, Carlton Fields’ ranked:
  • 2nd for “Best Law Firm for Diversity,”
  • 2nd for “Best Law Firm for Racial Minorities,”
  • 3rd for “Best Law Firm for Individuals with Disabilities,”
  • 6th for “Best Law firm for LGBTQ Individuals,” and
  • 6th for “Best Law Firm for Women.”

The firm also ranked in the top 15 for “Best Law Firm in Miami,” in the top 25 for “Best Law Firm for Technology and Innovation,” and in the top 30 for “Best Law Firm for Integration of Laterals and Clerks.”

These rankings follow numerous additional honors recognizing Carlton Fields’ commitment to diversity within the past year:

  • No. 6 in Law360’s 2019 Glass Ceiling Report for “Best Law Firms for Female Partners”
  • Top 25 in the country for Diversity in American Lawyer’s 2019 Diversity Scorecard
  • 100 percent (perfect score) for 10th consecutive year on the 2019 Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index “Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality”

For more than 20 years, Vault's influential rankings, ratings, and reviews on thousands of top employers, including law firms, have been a key source of information for employees and applicants. This year, nearly 20,000 law firm associates participated in Vault's Annual Associate Survey. As part of the survey, associates rated their own firms—on a scale of 1 to 10—in a variety of Quality of Life areas, including, training, diversity, and firm culture. Associates also rated their firms in several diversity categories and pro bono.
