Carlton Fields’ D. Barret Broussard Recognized as One of Atlanta’s Most Powerful Leaders

Carlton Fields attorney D. Barret Broussard is one of Atlanta’s 500 Most Powerful Leaders, according to Atlanta Magazine’s 2020 Atlanta 500 list. The list features Atlanta’s most influential people, selected via expert recommendations and nominations. Broussard is one of just 26 honorees in the Law category. 

Broussard is active in Atlanta’s LGBTQ legal community. He serves as the president of the Stonewall Bar Association of Georgia (SBA), the statewide bar association devoted to the interests of LGBTQ legal professionals. He is also the Georgia representative to the National LGBT Bar Association and serves on the Atlanta Leadership Council for Lambda Legal. Broussard recently received the Best Lawyer Award from Georgia Voice, a premier media source for the LGBTQ community in Georgia. He is a member of the LEAD Atlanta Class of 2018, where he has engaged with civic and thought leaders throughout the metro Atlanta area. In addition, Broussard is an active member of the LEAD Atlanta Alumni Association.
