Carlton Fields Adds Real Estate Attorney Patricia A. DeLeo in Hartford
Hartford, Conn. – Carlton Fields is pleased to welcome experienced real estate attorney Patricia A. DeLeo in the firm’s Hartford office. She is the third attorney to join the firm’s Hartford office in 2020, following the additions of Leslie P. King and Ryan D. Class.
DeLeo joins the firm’s robust, nationally recognized Real Estate and Commercial Finance Practice. Carlton Fields earned national rankings in real estate law in the 2020 U.S. News and World Report and Best Lawyers® Best Law Firms guide, along with first-tier rankings in the Hartford market. The firm also ranked among the top real estate law firms in Connecticut in Chambers USA 2020.
DeLeo represents clients in a variety of commercial transactions. She counsels clients on matters including the acquisition and disposition of real estate, commercial finance, mortgage loans, leasing, contracting, and joint venture arrangements. DeLeo has undergone advanced training in real estate closings and is a licensed agent with Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Co.

In her 20-year career, DeLeo has advised a variety of businesses and individuals in matters involving the purchase and sale of business interests and real estate, business, partnership, and contractual disputes, franchise disputes, and property disputes. DeLeo has significant alternative dispute resolution experience, having conducted many mediations and arbitrations. DeLeo is a skilled negotiator who uses her vast litigation background to obtain positive outcomes for her clients.
Prior to joining Carlton Fields, DeLeo owned and operated a real estate and business law firm. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, and the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce. DeLeo is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. She earned her J.D. from Pennsylvania State University and her B.A., cum laude, from Marywood University.
