Alex M. Bein Joins Carlton Fields in New York

New York – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Alex M. Bein has joined the firm as an associate in its New York office. He is a member of the firm’s Property and Casualty Insurance Practice.

Carlton Fields’ Insurance Industry team comprises more than 110 attorneys and government consultants throughout the firm’s 11 offices across the U.S. Carlton Fields’ insurance clients are active in every sector of the insurance industry, including property and casualty, life and financial lines, reinsurance, and title insurance. On their behalf, Carlton Fields attorneys handle complex litigation and class action defense and offer corporate and regulatory guidance. Recently, Carlton Fields earned national rankings in Insurance Law in the 2021 U.S. News and World Report and Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” guide.

Bein represents property and casualty insurance companies in a variety of coverage counseling and litigation matters. He provides coverage advice to insurers regarding directors and officers (D&O), employment practices liability (EPL), and commercial general liability (CGL) policies. He also has experience in disputes involving insurance coverage under the Bermuda Form and reinsurance coverage for products liability and premises liability claims.

Prior to joining Carlton Fields, Bein served as a clerk to the Honorable Joseph Dickson and the Honorable Esther Salas, both of the U.S. District Court of the District of New Jersey, and the Honorable Eileen Bransten of the New York Supreme Court.

He earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. from Emory University.
