Carlton Fields’ Amanda Romfh Jesteadt Receives Justice Barbara Pariente Award
West Palm Beach, Fla. – Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Carlton Fields Shareholder, Amanda Romfh Jesteadt, received the Justice Barbara Pariente Award.
Each year, the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) presents this prestigious award to an individual who or organization that has demonstrated a commitment to promoting women in the legal community through their efforts, innovation and leadership. The award is named in honor of Barbara Pariente, retired Florida Supreme Court justice, who exemplifies the qualities and attributes associated with the honor. Jesteadt was presented with the award on March 3, 2022, at the National Croquet Center.
Jesteadt is deeply committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in Florida and in the broader legal community. Her continual focus, initiative, perseverance and advocacy make a difference to other women. She currently serves as vice chair of the board of directors of the Women’s Foundation of Florida, and she co-chairs Carlton Fields’ Women’s Business Resource Group with Shareholder Jin Liu. Jesteadt is also a past president of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers’ Palm Beach County Chapter and served on The Florida Bar’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
At Carlton Fields, Jesteadt's practice focuses on litigation and counseling in complex antitrust and telecommunications matters. She defends companies facing antitrust and unfair competition claims. In addition, as part of Carlton Fields’ antitrust cartel recovery practice, she assists corporate clients to recover damages from national and international cartels. Jesteadt also represents wireless carriers in nationwide litigation.
